Current IRC Status Reports: HB 202 & SB 129 prevents state and local governments from adopting IRC sprinkler requirements. 2009 Session ended without final votes which is expected during 2010 Legislative Session. More IRC Coalition work needed to defeat these bills. HB202 & SB129 filed that would prevent residential sprinklers being adopted state-wide. Bills remained in committee and will be considered in next legislative session in 2010. More work required by sprinkler coalition to defeat these bills.
