Filed
on December 8, 2005 HR 4491, dubbed the "Nursing Home fire Safety Act of
2005" . This bill when law, will grant low interest loans to nursing
homes using Medicare/Medicaid funds. Introducted by Congressman Larson
of Connecticut, this bill will help retrofit nursing homes by setting aside
$450 million for low-interest loans and $10 million for grants. Please
