OVERVIEW AND INTRO TO PLAN REVIEW SEMINAR DESCRIPTION
This two-day seminar provides attendees with vital information on determining compliance with fire sprinkler system design and installation rules in NFPA 13.
This is a basic level class. 

Overview – Assists the participants with understanding the responsibility of proper design and installation of all types of fire sprinkler systems.
Goal – Is to increase the knowledge of the participant with the NFPA Standards as they relate to fire sprinkler systems and their components.

Learning Objectives – Participants will learn to:

  • Classify hazards and commodities and give example of each
  • Identify components used in fire sprinkler systems and the regulations that govern them
  • Identify the types of fire sprinkler systems, where used and their limitations
  • Understand the principals and the regulations of spacing and obstructions to Sprinklers
  • Identify water supplies and determine if they are adequate for the fire sprinkler system
  • Identify components and design criteria during a plan review
