Home of the National Fire Sprinkler Association
The intent of this process is to help our members who represent the NFSA on NFPA technical committees understand the new process that the NFPA will be using as it moves forward with the development of codes and standards. The next (2016) edition of NFPA 13 is going to be the first document that heavily affects the fire sprinkler industry that is developed using this new process and the meetings to begin this work begin this summer, so there is very little time to adapt to the new process.
The seminar will be taught by Ken Isman, NFSA’s Vice President of Engineering, who has been monitoring the development of this new process by the NFPA and has had some experience with it on some of the minor documents used by the sprinkler industry earlier this year. Ken will share his understanding and experience in this approximately 90 minute program with ample time for questions and answers.
