This seminar covers the procedures for hydraulic calculations per NFPA 13. We also cover the subjects of classifying hazards and commodities, also covered is the design options. The design options that will be covered are area density, room design, residential, Large Drop and ESFR. The use of the area density curves and their reduction and increases in design area is covered.

PARTICIPANT SHOULD COME PREPARED WITH A CURRENT COPY OF NFPA 13 and scientific calculator.

Jan 29, 2014//Commissioning & Acceptance Testing of Fire Sprinkler Systems
(WI# 15175)

This one-day seminar provides attendees with vital information on how to conduct the commissioning of new sprinkler systems. The student will learn how to systematically conduct the commissioning of a sprinkler system for compliance with NFPA 13. The student will also learn the importance of conducting a systematic acceptance test by using check sheets to insure that a quality installation is provided for. The required documentation of the U certificate and A certificates will be discussed. The commissioning process and required testing process will be covered. Students will be given examples various commissioning forms that are used by local code agencies

PARTICIPANT SHOULD COME PREPARED WITH A COPY OF NFPA 13 ('07 or '10 edition)
