The ideal candidate for Field Service Coordinator is driven by a passion to serve our members. He or she will be responsible for carrying out the mission of NFSA to promote the widespread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept through multiple outlets to including membership service education, legislation, code adoption and training within our Great Lakes Region and nationally. To meet these responsibilities the candidate would also have a demonstrated proficiency in a specialty field related to the fire sprinkler industry including but not limited to training, building and fire codes, inspection, testing and maintenance (ITM), residential sprinklers or fire safety advocacy. The coordinator will from time to time be tasked with working collaboratively within other NFSA efforts and must be ready to perform those functions as needed. Significant travel within the Great Lakes region and around the country will be required as well as the ability to work independently, without direct supervision, and in various business environments.
