| On-Line Training Programs: |
Live
On-Line Business Seminars - Live web based seminars scheduled on various
Thursdays. The topics for the “Business
Thursday” seminars have been specially selected to help the fire sprinkler
contractor deal with current problem areas in the business environment.
Participants will be able to ask the instructors pertinent questions, and
receive answers live during the seminar, just as if they were on-site Live On-Line
Technical
Seminars - Live web based seminars scheduled on various
Tuesdays. Learn about the latest developments within the industry, ask
the instructors pertinent questions, and receive answers live during the
seminar, just as if they were on-site.
NFSA
Academy - These web based seminars are designed for busy professionals
who need to balance work, family and Continuing education. With over 100
modules ranging from basic to advanced levels, available day or night 24/7
for the 30 days of your choice.
Self
Improvement - These six week on-line seminars give you the opportunity
to participate with eliminating the cost of traveling and hotel accommodations.
Log on any time of the day or evening during the six weeks . Each week
a new module will be added. Each module has a self-scoring test to help
you gauge your understanding of the concepts learned. |
| Technician Training Programs: |
Advanced
Technician Training Seminar - This three-day seminar has been developed
for fire sprinkler layout and detail technicians that have two to three
years of experience. The purpose of the seminar is to assist individuals
that are currently holding NICET Level 2 certifications (Fire Sprinkler
Layout and Detail Subfield) in advancing their careers by reviewing material
necessary for Level 3 and Level 4 certification.
Inspection and
Testing for the Sprinkler Industry - This
three-day seminar has been developed for individuals that inspect and test
water-based fire protection systems. The purpose of the seminar is
to assist individuals in advancing their careers by reviewing material
necessary for Level II certification in the relatively new NICET Subfield
of Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems.
Project
Management - This course will benefit all levels of management
involved in the various aspects of sprinkler contracting including; sales
and marketing, estimating, project management, purchasing and human resources.
The skills and techniques taught in the course are specially designed with
the sprinkler contractor in mind and are essential to the success of the
business.
Two
- Week Layout Technician Training Class - This course
is designed to take a person with basic knowledge of math, physical science
and drafting skills and teach them to be productive basic sprinkler layout
and detailing technicians. All of the work elements necessary for
NICET Level II Certification will be covered by the course. |

Certificate
Program for Fire Sprinkler Technician - A unique training program
for design technicians called the Certificate Program for Fire Sprinkler
Technicians. The program will run for approximately two years and
will guide a design technician along a career development path, creating
knowledgeable and efficient layout and detail professionals.
